Easter Break

There is no March Break in Saskatoon. The kids get a week off in February and another week off for Easter. So off we went to Calgary for a week of fun. Arlene and Aldo always spend March golfing in Myrtle Beach so we beat them to their house by a few days. We spent a fun Easter with Zia and enjoyed countless easter-egg hunts (after the eggs were all found initially, the favourite game became hiding them all over again and then playing "hot cold" for hours).







Pete flew to Poland on business Easter Monday and took the camera with him (and had a fabulous time by the way). Little did we know that Ethan would master riding a two-wheeler while the rest of us were camera-less. It took a couple of days of persistence and a wee bit of bribery (Ethan is not one for new experiences) but once he realized it was doable, his determination kicked in and he has now mastered it. The first thing he did when Pete got home was drag him outside and ride up and down our street. Not sure which one of them was more proud...



I'm getting numerous requests for more footage of Leah walking. She is now opting to walk about 50% of the time now and the record is about 20 steps. Here is a more recent video shot yesterday...
