Happy Hallowe'en!!!

It was cold and snowing for most of the day, but it didn't slow us down at all. The kids had a ball getting ready for Hallowe'en and an even bigger ball trick or treating. Ethan kept going an extra hour after Josh and Leah called it quits and we discovered all the houses in the neighbourhood that give out full-size chocolate bars. He has made a map so we don't forget for next year!

These were taken on Friday after the boys' parties at school. The little lion is Cailyn, the daughter of some friends of ours that I look after 3 afternoons a week.







Pete and the boys carved the pumpkin Saturday morning. This is the first pumpkin Pete has carved in over 20 years...



... I don't have the heart to tell him that it will also be the last!! Ha ha.



We went to a pre-trick-or-treating party at Des and Chris's and then all the munchkins trick or treated initially together.








We ended the night with some fireworks with friends on our street. It was a great Hallowe'en!
