Happy Birthday Joshua Andrew!

Joshua Andrew, as he now insists on being called (consider yourself warned if you try to call him by a nickname), turned the big 4 on Saturday. He woke up to a breakfast table decorated with presents and patiently waited for everyone to come to the table before he dug in.





We declared the day "Josh's Choice Day" and he chose everything from what we ate to what we did and thoroughly enjoyed being King for the day. Pete was in a ball tournament so fortunately his choices took us to the ball diamond as well as to the airport to drop off Grammy and Grandpa.

His party was on Sunday afternoon so I spent the better part of Saturday night working on his requested cake:



The party was held at Can-Am Gymnastics. We picked it on the recommendation of a friend but had never been there and didn't know what to expect. Josh absolutely loved every second of it as did his brother, sister, and all 11 of his closest friends! There were 2 coaches who ran the first hour of the party and then we went to a party room for cake and gifts. As you can tell from the pictures, the party went off without a hitch.











A big happy birthday to our favourite Joshy-bear!!

PS nicknames from Mom and Dad are still ok. Phew.
