Throw your hat!!!

I personally have been haunted by the "curse of the hattrick" my whole life. I have scored 2 goals within the first 5 minutes of a soccer game countless times, but have never been able to score that elusive 3rd. My Mom has been waiting to bake me my "hattrick cake" for over 30 years... it has pathetically just never happened. Fortunately the curse hasn't been passed down to Ethan. He scored 3 beauties in his hockey game yesterday (as he describes it: "there was even a real ref and everything and I didn't get one penalty!!") and was beyond excited when he discovered me baking a cake in his honour. Congratulations Ethan - I'm really happy for you. Really I am. Really. Sigh...
