Back to School!

The kids started back to school on Tuesday. Ethan is now in Grade 2 and was very excited to find himself in the non-split class with Mme. Branstetter (who happens to be a very good friend of ours). He hasn't had any trouble switching from calling her Shelley to calling her "Madame" and is a very happy camper these days.

Josh is now in Kindergarten and is an official full-fledged school bus rider! He had his first day yesterday (they do a staggered start so he went with one-third of his class on his first day) and he was absolutely beaming when he got home. He's already told us more about what goes on at school than we've been able to pull out of Ethan in 2 full years!!




This morning was the boys' first day going together on the morning bus. Ethan was very excited to play his big brother role and was continuously reassuring Josh that he would stick by him on the playground, accompany him to his class, and help him put on his indoor shoes.
