Happy 3rd Birthday Leah!!

Yesterday was Leah's 3rd birthday. If she wasn't completely obsessed by birthdays before yesterday, she sure is now!! She had an absolutely awesome day. She woke up to a table full of presents...






After some afternoon fun out on the backyard rink (yes it's ready and it's fantastic) it was party-time! Leah requested a princess themed party and we invited the Reverings and Toshs over for some birthday fun. As soon as everyone arrived, the kids got busy making crowns.






A pizza dinner was then followed up with games led by Ethan.







It was then pinata time (we improvised with a hockey stick when we realized the bat was in the shed which was inaccessible without shoveling snow... and without anywhere to tie it, Pete came prepared!).






Finally came the much-anticipated cake (Leah picked out the cake pan herself this year) and more presents!





It was a great birthday - made even greater by presents from afar, great party friends, and a super great 3-year old. Happy birthday to a most wonderful little girl. We love you Leah-bear!
