The 2nd Annual Narrow Hills Adventure

It was one year ago that we set off on our maiden voyage with our new trailer.  With 10,000+ kilometres (and the summer of our lives) under our belts, we've sure come a long way from the rookies we were that first weekend at Narrow Hills Provincial Park.  To kick off our 2nd summer of trailer ownership we once again took off for Narrow Hills with our favourite fellow campers: the Toshs.  We were able to reserve the same two back-to-back sites as last year and had yet another awesome weekend together.  I'll let the pictures tell the story...

On Sunday we went for a hike to the Gem Lakes and picnicked at Diamond Lake.  Bob discovered how tame the birds were and we spent over an hour feeding them out of our hands.

While our summer won't be filled with quite as many camping adventures this year as last, we are looking forward to exploring the lakes and campgrounds a little closer to home on our free weekends.  We've also reserved a site at Pike Lake (a campground 20 minutes south of us) for two weeks in July.  It's close enough for Pete to still commute to work on his bike, but gives the kids and me a more exciting camping adventure than our daily monopoly games in the driveway!
