A New May Long Tradition

We decided to explore somewhere new for May long weekend this year and set off for Battlefords Provincial Park with our trailer in tow.  We were thrilled to discover that we had reserved the best site in the park.  It boasted its own private park with a huge field for soccer, baseball and lacrosse games.  Furthermore, the campground offered everything from minigolf, to hiking trails, bike paths, ice cream and a full 18-hole golf course.  The weather was gorgeous and needless to say we had a fantastic weekend.  I wouldn't be surprised if Battlefords becomes our annual May long destination.

First s'mores of the season!

Our friends Loch and Kiara were at their family cabin nearby and came for a visit.
