An outdated update...

I'm not sure where the time is flying or why I've suddenly developed an intense aversion to being on the computer.  As a result, I'm now over a month behind in my blogging.  Sorry!!  While our summer adventures to date have been closer to home than previous years, we've still had a blast and have had no trouble filling our days.  Early July found us in a great routine of following the soccer-in-the-park coaches around and enjoying many picnic lunches by a splash park or paddling pool.  Sue came to visit for a few hot days and it was great to catch up again and hear about her amazing African and European adventures.  We continue to make wonderful use of the trampoline and have a new pre-bedtime favourite that involves shooting the sprinkler up through the bottom of the tramp... the kids cool off while giggling themselves silly... it's awesome.  Here are some pictures from early July...

The pool gave one last valiant effort but sadly was recycled the next day as it was beyond repair with too many leaks to count (guess it's a sign that we need to upgrade!!).

Our tomato plants are thriving this year thanks to our diligent waterer!
